What is a Fractional Chief of Staff?
A Chief of Staff anticipates hidden problems, identifies & creates connections across teams, and keeps the company moving.
A seasoned Chief of Staff understands the CEO’s goals, challenges where necessary, and can be a proxy decision maker.
A Fractional Chief of Staff does all of the above, where you need it most, and without the overhead.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across strategy, operations, customer insights, and product at fast-growing companies. I was Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy at a skincare brand that was acquired by Procter & Gamble. These days, I partner with CEOs as a Fractional Chief of Staff — helping them plan smarter, move faster, and build with intention.
I work best with two kinds of CEOs:
The early-stage founder who lives for building the brand and product — but would rather do anything than prep a fundraising deck, build a hiring plan, or wrangle a 12-month forecast.
The scaling CEO (Series A and beyond) who suddenly can’t be in every meeting or make every call. The team’s gotten bigger, they’ve hired great specialists — but those big cross-functional projects? They’re falling through the cracks. That’s where I come in.
In both cases, I’m the strategic partner who keeps things moving. I make sure priorities are clear, big projects are executed, and the business doesn’t stall while you scale.
While a Brooklyn resident, I am a Chicago native and will happily debate the best pizza. When in town you can find me trying out new British Baking show recipes or struggling at [solidcore]. When not in town, I’m probably on a boat.
